President Audrey Monell Shatters Stereotypes In Male-Dominated Industry

Forrest Anderson Plumbing and Air Conditioning Inc. (Forrest Anderson), is pleased to announce its President, Audrey Monell, was selected for the 2018 list of Most Influential Women in Arizona Business by Arizona Business Magazine.
Since becoming President of Forrest Anderson in 2008, Audrey Monell has been breaking barriers as a powerful leader in this male-dominated field where only 1.5% of workers are women. Under Monell’s leadership, the company has grown every year, improved processes, opened communication and upheld core beliefs to treat customers and employees with the utmost respect.
Monell takes pride in her growth as a leader over the last decade, but credits the company’s success to her dedicated team of employees and her family’s legacy passed on by her parents.

Monell is using her position to help other women fulfill potential and achieve goals. This year, she hosted an inaugural “Women in Industry” workshop to introduce young women to careers in the trade. Monell is also a board member with Executive Women International and volunteers to help families at the Whispering Horse Ranch in Payson.
As part of the recognition as an Influential Woman in Business, Monell’s story will be featured in the July issue of Arizona Business Magazine and she will be honored, along with all the women selected, at a reception in August.
Monell’s work at this third-generation company earned Forrest Anderson numerous awards, including: A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, 2018 BBB Torch Awards for Ethics Finalist, and recognition from the Phoenix Business Journal including Top Women Owned Businesses, Top Family Owned Businesses and Top Mechanical Contractors three years in a row.
