Common Heater Repairs

Your commercial heater contains moving parts that, if left to run each year without inspection or commercial heater maintenance, will cause the system to break down.

  • Fan motors blow heat into the home but parts can wear out causing the fan to stop working. Hot air will be trapped in the heater. To prevent further damage, the heater shuts off until the fan motor is repaired or replaced.

  • Dirty blower. When dirt build-up on the blades, the furnace’s airflow is reduced causing it to work less efficiently. This translates to higher utility bills for customers and contributes to the wear and tear of the heat exchanger and the blower motor.

  • Fractures in heat exchanger. Each part of the commercial heater is related to another part like the heat exchanger and blower. When the blower isn’t working efficiently, it runs hotter causing the metal of the exchanger to expand and contract at a higher rate. This is common in older heaters that have not been repaired on a regular basis.

If your commercial heater hasn’t been maintained, you will experience more repairs.

Don’t ignore a heater that’s not working.
